Glenna's Journey
From Pain to Purpose
Hi, I’m Glenna, and I wear many hats: registered nurse, trauma and recovery practitioner, women’s health advocate, and empowerment coach. But above all, I’m a woman who has walked through the fire of adversity and emerged with a fierce determination to help others reclaim their lives.
My story is one of survival, resilience, and ultimately reclaiming the life I was always meant to live.
Growing up, I endured the chaos of a violent home—a place where love felt conditional and survival meant staying small and silent. This upbringing left deep wounds, carving out a lifelong struggle with fear and insecurity.
As I grew older, I became immersed in a high-control, fear-based religious environment that dictated every aspect of my identity. This wasn’t a sanctuary but a place that demanded conformity, stripped me of my worth, and buried my true self. Compounding this was the trauma of sexual abuse—violations that shattered my sense of safety, trust, and connection to myself.

For 50 years, I carried these traumas silently, locking them deep within me. They didn’t just affect my mental health—they took a devastating toll on my physical health as well. The weight of the unprocessed pain eventually overflowed into my body, leaving me unable to walk for four years. My neurologist explained that my stored trauma had manifested physically, causing a cascade of health challenges that I still feel the effects of today. It was a breaking point. In that moment, I knew I had to do something.

That realization marked the beginning of my transformation. Slowly, I began to unravel the pain, shame, and fear that had been tightly wound within me for decades. I lost everything during this journey—my marriage, my home, my family, and friends. I thought I was losing my mind. But even in the darkest moments, there was a glimmer of hope that told me I could rebuild. Through therapy, self-reflection, and stepping away from the fear-based structures of my past, I began to see that I wasn’t broken—I was wounded, but wounds can heal.

I discovered the incredible connection between mind, body, and spirit, and how reclaiming my identity was the key to reclaiming my health. I turned my pain into purpose. With a master’s degree in nursing and over 15 years of experience in women’s health, I began using my professional skills to walk alongside women in their most vulnerable moments. My personal experiences added a layer of empathy and insight that allowed me to truly connect with the women I serve.

The Rise and Reclaim Network
That’s why I founded the Rise and Reclaim Network. This private, women-only Facebook support group is a safe, judgment-free space for women to rise above their pain, embrace healing, and reclaim their identity. Together, we share our stories, find support, and rediscover the power that has always been within us.

As a coach, I offer compassionate, trauma-informed guidance to help women break free from the chains of trauma and fear. My mission is to help women heal, find their joy, and live lives of freedom and empowerment. This journey is about more than just me—it’s about us. I’m calling on women everywhere to join me in a global movement of healing, empowerment, and transformation. Together, we can build a world where women rise into their full power, unapologetically and boldly.
